GCF Camp August 2021

Dear graduate,

This past year has been a trying time for all of us in many ways, but has also given us time to reflect on the things that matter. And, as Christians, we have spent a lot of time thinking about what community means and how it needs to be re-interpreted in a pandemic world.

Part of belonging to a community is obviously our ability to share common values and ideas, but how do we continue to struggle with our societies that are becoming increasingly polarised? Does the Bible challenge us to see things differently? What have been some important experiences that have shaped us when we have either engaged or struggled with divisive ideologies and divided communities?

The GCF will reflect on these questions as a body of Christian graduates and professionals on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August 2021, and will gather to learn from both experience and the scriptures. Please keep these dates free if you would like to join us for this year's online camp! The camp agenda will be circulated in a week's time with the times of the sessions and the registration link, but this is to invite you all to keep the days free so that we can gather together virtually to learn from the scriptures as a family of graduates and professionals seeking to build the Kingdom of God in all aspects of life.

Theme: Engaging the Divide
Dates: Saturday 28th - Sunday 29th August 2021
Venue: Online

Please don't hesitate to contact me for any further information on either ruthi.sraj@gmail.com or +94779400587. On behalf of the GCF committee, we look forward to meeting you all online at camp this year!

Best,
